Published on July 27, 2019, a police officer attached to Embakassi Police Station was arrested for threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend inside a night club in Ruiru.
Samuel Musyoki, the officer in question, was drunk when he allegedly threatened Jane Njihia using a Jericho rifle after she assaulted his current girlfriend, Emmaculate Mwatha.
According to a police report filed at Ruiru police station, the officer was arrested after the incident and his firearm, with serial number 45303351, was confiscated.
Mr. Musyoki will be arraigned in court on Monday, marking the third police officer based in Nairobi to be arrested in the last two days.
