On July 26, 2019, Kenyatta University celebrated its 46th graduation, with over 7,000 students in attendance, including Kelvin Ndirangu Njama, a passionate Arsenal fan.
Njama, a Kenyatta University student and economist by profession, is also a self-proclaimed 'loyal gooner' on his official Twitter profile, accompanied by Mesut Özil hashtags.
Unai Emery, the Arsenal manager, sent a congratulatory message to Njama via UK's Royal Mail, thanking him for his support and expressing his excitement about the journey they are taking together.
"I want to send my congratulations to you as you graduate from Kenyatta University. I have read that you are a passionate supporter, I too am very passionate and excited about the journey we are taking together. I thank you for your support and your emotion, we play for our supporters and you are with this team," the letter read.
This surprise gift comes days after Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah visited Kenya, where he spent a night at the Hilton Garden Inn along Mombasa Road, Nairobi.
