Ken Okoth, the Kibra Member of Parliament, has passed away at the age of 41. He was serving his second term in office.

Okoth had been battling colorectal cancer, which he had been open about on social media. In March, he revealed that he was managing stage four colorectal cancer and expressed confidence that he would overcome the disease.

Just two weeks ago, Okoth made his first public appearance since seeking treatment in France. He attended the Kibra Music Fest at Moi Girls School in Nairobi, giving hope to his supporters that he was on the road to recovery.

However, his condition took a turn for the worse, and he was rushed to Nairobi Hospital's ICU on Thursday night, where he sadly passed away.

Okoth's death has sent shockwaves through the community, with many paying tribute to his courage and resilience in the face of adversity.
