On Thursday night, Kenya's national men's basketball team, Morans, made a stunning impression in the FIBA AfroCan semi-finals, defeating Morocco 96-66 in Bamako, Mali.
Eric Reuben Mutoro led the charge with an impressive 32 points, while Tylor 'Durango' Ongwae contributed 20 points to the resounding victory.
With this win, Morans will face DR Congo in the final on Saturday, a repeat of their Group B opening clash where Kenya suffered an 82-65 defeat.
Morans dominated the game from the start, with Mutoro sinking 18 points in the opening quarter, followed by 23-15 and 27-20 wins in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.
Despite a slim 19-20 win in the last quarter, Morocco was unable to overcome the charging Morans.
Griffin Ligare and Ongwae made game-high assists of 6 apiece, while Mutoro remained lethal in three-pointers, sinking 6.
As of now, Ongwae is leading the Most Valuable player table with 109 points in the entire competition, ahead of Chad's Micheal Koibe and Guinea's Cedric Mansare.
