Manchester United are preparing for the possibility of Romelu Lukaku's departure this summer, with the club reportedly lining up Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as a potential replacement.
According to reports, Inter Milan are seriously interested in signing Lukaku, but Manchester United are demanding a price tag of £75 million for the Belgian forward.
Dembele, who joined Lyon from Celtic in a €22 million deal last summer, has impressed with his 20 goals in all competitions for the French side. He was also instrumental in Lyon's Champions League run, helping the team reach the round of 16 stage.
Manchester United are said to be attracted to Dembele's stats, which are similar to Lukaku's, and are willing to do everything to sign him. However, Inter Milan must meet the asking price before Lukaku can leave Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are planning to sell Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic to raise the necessary funds to sign Lukaku. The Italian League side has been given seven days by Manchester United to meet the asking price.
Manchester United have enjoyed a successful preseason tour, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side winning four consecutive games, including a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong.
Dembele's potential move to Manchester United has sparked interest, with fans eagerly awaiting the outcome of the transfer saga.
