Fairmont The Norfolk Unveils Week-Long African Art Exhibition

On 26th July 2019, Fairmont The Norfolk in Nairobi kicked off a week-long celebration of African art with the 'African Inspiration' exhibition.

The event, held at the hotel's Cin Cin Lounge Bar, offered guests an exclusive experience, including Gin & Tonic cocktails and a showcase of unique art pieces curated by Lisa Christoffersen.

According to Axel Hauser, General Manager of Fairmont The Norfolk, 'The importance of art in preserving the culture of a society cannot be overlooked.' He added that the event aimed to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work and for guests to experience the local heritage.

During the week, African artworks, including paintings, carvings, and artifacts, were on display at the Cin Cin Lounge and available for purchase. The exhibition ran until 4th August 2019.
