Published on July 26th, 2019, the Canadian government has invited 3600 individuals who participated in the Express Entry program to apply for the country's permanent residence in a new draw held on July 24th.

The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for the July 24th draw was 459, a three-point decrease from the 460 cut-off score for the July 10th draw.

Foreigners participating in the Express Entry draw are ranked based on the CRS score, which considers factors such as age, education, skills level, work experience, proficiency in English or French, and family ties to Canada.

Through the Express Entry program, candidates enter a pool and are selected in a draw that takes place every two weeks, receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

As of 2019, a total of 49,000 ITAs have been issued through the Express Entry program, with the government aiming to issue 81,400 ITAs for the year.
