According to the ranking, Belgium retains the top spot globally, while Brazil, the recently crowned Copa America champions, is second.
France, England, and Uruguay complete the top five teams in the world.
Despite losing to Algeria in the African Cup of Nations final, Senegal retains the top spot in the continent and is ranked number 20th worldwide.
Tunisia is ranked second in Africa and 29th worldwide, while Nigeria is third and 33rd worldwide.
Kenya, which won a single match and lost two of their three group matches in the just concluded 32nd edition of AFCON in Egypt, is ranked 129th globally.
Uganda ranks top in East Africa and 80th worldwide, while Kenya and Sudan are second and third respectively in the region.
