Kenya's Morans basketball team secured a semi-final spot at the FIBA AfroCan competition in Bamako, Mali, after a thrilling 82-76 win over Tunisia in an overtime quarter-final match on July 24, 2019.

The match was a closely contested affair, with Tunisia taking an early lead in the first two quarters. However, the Morans bounced back in the third quarter, led by Tom Wamukota's 10 points, and Griffin Ligare and Tyler Okal's pivotal roles.

Despite Tunisia's efforts to force the game into overtime, the Morans emerged victorious, with Griffin Ligare sinking a game-high 22 points and 5 rebounds, while Wamukota added 21 points and 14 rebounds. Tylor Ongwae Okal and Erick Reuben Mutoro also contributed 14 points apiece.

The Morans will face off against Morocco in the first semi-final match on the same day.
