On July 24, 2019, Boris Johnson was invited to Buckingham Palace to become the new Prime Minister of Britain following Theresa May's resignation.

During the meeting, Johnson was pictured shaking hands with the Queen, a standard procedure upon one becoming the premier.

However, hawk-eyed football fans took notice of similarities between the handshake and the celebration between Arsenal players Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The handshake between the two Arsenal forwards has become a custom since Aubameyang sealed a move to the Emirates in January 2018.

So famous the celebration has become that fans now believe the UK leaders mimicked it in their meeting.

"The Queen and Boris doing the Laca and Auba celebration," a fan posted on Twitter.

Incidentally, Johnson, who was Mayor of London between 2008 and 2016, has previously claimed to "support all of the London teams."
