On 24th July, Vybz Kartel, the Jamaican dancehall artiste, was spotted leaving a medical facility in Kingston, Jamaica, raising concerns about his health.
According to his lawyer, Valerie Neita-Robertson, Kartel has a recurrent medical condition affecting his thyroid, which requires regular treatment.
Robertson revealed that Kartel has been leaving prison to seek medical attention for his condition, and is under ongoing medical care.
While it's unclear if Kartel's current hospital visit is related to his thyroid condition or another issue, his history of emergency treatments has sparked concerns about his health.
As reported earlier, Kartel was rushed to West Indies University hospital in March for an emergency treatment.
