Kenya's national basketball team, the Morans, continued their impressive run at the International Basketball Federation AfroCan in Mali with a thrilling 82-76 win over World Cup-bound Tunisia in a quarter-final match on July 24, 2019.

The match, which took place on Wednesday night, saw Bush Wamukota emerge as the star of the game, scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds to help Kenya oust the North Africans and secure a semi-final ticket.

Kenya's skipper, Griffin Ligare, also played a crucial role in the game by helping the team contain late pressure from the North Africans.

Tunisia initially took the lead, registering narrow wins in the first and second quarters, edging Kenya by 20-19 and 16-15 respectively.

However, Kenya managed to recover in the third quarter, beating the North Africans 10-20 to take charge of the clash.

Tunisia won the final quarter 22-15, taking the game to overtime where Kenya stood tall to win 14-8 and end the match with an overall 76-82 win.

With this victory, Kenya will now face Morocco in the semi-finals.
