Media personality Terryanne Chebet recently found herself on the receiving end of sympathy after a fall down the stairs in Hurlingham, Nairobi. The incident has sparked a wave of reactions from netizens, including a personal anecdote from KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua.

According to Mutua, he had a similar experience in Dubai, where he fell down the stairs in front of heads of state and celebrities. He noted that his ego was more wounded than his body, a sentiment echoed by Chebet, who also expressed relief that her ego was more bruised than her physical body.

On Twitter, Mutua shared his experience, saying, 'Pole sana. Once fell like that in Dubai, before Presidents and celebrities. My body healed but my ego never recovered!!!'

Chebet, who is recovering from her fall, expressed her gratitude for the kind words and support from her followers, including Mutua. She also shared her own experience, saying, 'So I tumbled down the stairs at a building in Hurlingham, I’m bumped and bruised but super thankful for the very kind people that came to help. Thankfully no fractures. My ego was more wounded than my painfully swollen leg… Thank you for not laughing.'

Netizens have been sharing their own experiences of falling down the stairs, with some expressing relief that they were not seriously injured. Others have shared their own humorous anecdotes, including a story of eating the earth after falling on their face.
