On July 24, 2019, FIFA's Ethics Committee announced a 10-year ban on Musa Hassan Bility, a former president of the Liberian Football Association (LFA), following an investigation into the LFA's finances.
The investigation, which began in May 2018, found that Bility had misappropriated FIFA funds and received benefits, violating the FIFA Code of Ethics.
According to FIFA, the investigation looked into the misappropriation of funds granted under the '11 against Ebola campaign' and money sent from the Financial Assistance Programme funds.
The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee found Bility guilty of breaching rules governing misappropriation of funds, offering and accepting gifts or other benefits, and conflicts of interest.
As a result, Bility will face a fine of 500,000 CHF (approximately $507,150) and a 10-year ban from all football administration roles.
