On Thursday, July 25, 2019, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz landed in Uganda, marking his return to the country ahead of his highly anticipated performance at the Comedy Store in Kampala.
According to Comedy Store's Alex Muhangi, Diamond will be headlining the show, which also features Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi and Ugandan singer King Saha among other local comedians.
As reported by Pulse Live, Diamond Platnumz arrived at the Entebbe International airport with his crew aboard the RwandAir at around 1pm.
Ugandans last caught his performance in town in October 2017 at the Kampala City Festival at Kololo Airstrip.
Comedy Store's Alex Muhangi confirmed the news in a video, saying: “KAMPALA UGANDA, THEY CALL ME DIAMOND PLATNUMZ. JUST TO TELL YOU THAT THURSDAY 25TH JULY I WILL BE PERFORMING LIVE ON COMEDY STORE WITH ALEX MUHANGI”
