Samsung Unveils Galaxy NOTE 10 and NOTE 10+ Flagships ¶
On August 7th, Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy NOTE 10 and NOTE 10+ flagships, marking a significant design change for the series. The NOTE 10 and NOTE 10+ will feature two variants with distinct display sizes, battery capacities, and features.
The NOTE 10 will have a 6.3-inch display, while the NOTE 10+ will boast a massive 6.9-inch display. Despite the larger size, the NOTE 10+ is expected to have the same footprint as the NOTE 9 due to the greatly reduced bezels.
According to @OnLeaks, the NOTE 10 will feature a 3600mAh battery, while the NOTE 10+ will pack a 4300mAh battery. Both devices will support 45W fast wired charging, 20W fast wireless charging, and wirelessly share power up to 15W.
Both devices will have three rear cameras: standard (12MP), ultra-wide (16MP), and telephoto (12MP). The main 12MP lens will be able to switch between three aperture sizes: f/1.5, f/1.8, or f/2.4.
The NOTE 10+ will have an extra DepthVision ToF sensor to complement the three lenses, while the NOTE 10 will not have this feature. The S-Pen will also feature 'Air Gestures,' allowing users to interact with the phone without touching the screen.
It's worth noting that both devices will not have a headphone jack, joining the growing list of devices without this feature.
With the official launch just two weeks away, it will be interesting to see what Samsung brings to the table, especially with Apple's 2019 refresh and the expected Huawei MATE 30 PRO on the horizon.
