Get ready to experience the rich cultural heritage of Africa as Fairmont The Norfolk in Nairobi presents the 'African Inspirations' art exhibition, opening on Thursday, July 25th, and running until Sunday, August 4th, 2019.

The exhibition showcases a unique collection of rare and valuable tribal arts, available for purchase, carefully curated by Lisa Christoffersen. Art and design enthusiasts are invited to the opening night event at the Cin Cin lounge bar on Thursday, July 25th, at 6:00 pm.

Guests who arrive within the first 100 will receive a complimentary welcome cocktail, accompanied by a selection of sweet and savory canapés. The evening will also feature gin and tonic and dark and stormy rum cocktails.

According to Axel Hauser, General Manager of Fairmont The Norfolk, "The importance of art in preserving the culture of a society cannot be overlooked. This event is an opportunity for Kenyan artists to showcase their works and for our guests to experience local heritage, offering a home away from home."

The exhibition will feature African tribal art, including paintings, carvings, and artefacts, displayed at the Cin Cin lounge, perfectly complementing the bar's unique blend of early 1900s British design and modern art influences.
