July 23, 2019: Turkish football website fanatik.com has reported that Harambee stars and Tottenham hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama is attracting interest from Fenerbahce.

Since joining Tottenham from Southampton in 2016, Wanyama has experienced ups and downs during his stay in north London. Manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is also a fan of the Kenyan, brought him in and made him a regular alongside Mousa Dembele.

However, injuries have since plagued Wanyama, restricting him to just 22 appearances in the 2018-19 season.

Despite recently telling ESPN that he won't leave Spurs and will be training with them next week, Wanyama's future at the club remains uncertain. 'I will be back in training with Spurs next week. I do not want to dwell much on speculations because it's normal for a player to be linked with other clubs when the transfer window is open but I'm not going anywhere,' he said.

With the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele and the club's links to Real Betis' midfielder Lo Celso, reported Fenerbahce interest could turn Wanyama's head as he is expected to opt for more playing time.
