Oscar Sudi Accuses Uhuru of Targeting Kalenjin Leaders in Corruption Fight

On July 23, 2019, Finance CS Henry Rotich was arrested and taken to the DCI headquarters for questioning over the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal.

According to Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, the arrest of Rotich is a way of hiding the Jubilee government's own corruption. Sudi has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of targeting Kalenjin leaders in the fight against corruption.

"I ask President Uhuru Kenyatta, what is difficult to explain to the corrupt leaders that they should resign instead of taking the entire Kalenjin community to court? This is not good and it means that the methods used to fight corruption in this country are not genuine," Sudi said.

Sudi also claimed that the relationship between Uhuru and Ruto has broken down and that they are now deceiving the public by saying they are still together.

"Let President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto continue to deceive the public about their good relationship, we are not fools, God sees everything," Sudi added.
