Valentine's Day came and went, but Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha's highly anticipated wedding proposal did not materialize as expected.
According to sources, the couple had initially planned to tie the knot in February, but the Bongo Flava star decided to postpone the proposal to a yet-to-be-identified date later this year.
Fans and social media followers were left shocked and disappointed when Tanasha left the The Great Gatsby 707 party without a proposal, with many expecting Diamond to pop the question.
However, in a recent interview, Diamond Platnumz revealed that he had deliberately chosen not to propose at the party, citing his desire to make the engagement a special and memorable occasion for his mother and Tanasha.
"I love being unpredictable. I did not want my engagement to be in that place. I knew Tanzanians expected that but I wanted that day to be a special one for my mum and my love to celebrate. I will make that the engagement another separate function," Diamond Platnumz said.
With the baby shower on the horizon, fans are eagerly waiting to see if Diamond Platnumz will finally propose to Tanasha in the coming weeks.
As fans recall, Diamond Platnumz's previous relationship with Zari Hassan ended in a dramatic fashion, with Zari revealing that the singer had brought women from the streets to her bed. However, Zari has since given Diamond the benefit of doubt, hoping that he has learned from his mistakes and will be a changed man.
