Published on July 22, 2019, Brazilian international Willian has confirmed that he will wear the iconic No.10 jersey at Chelsea, previously worn by Eden Hazard.

Willian, who wore the No.10 jersey for Brazil at the 2019 Copa America, has been offered the jersey by Chelsea, which Hazard wore for five years before joining Real Madrid.

Chelsea will face Manchester United in their first match of the 2019/20 Premier League season.

Willian was quoted saying, "Now 'she' is mine. The club (Chelsea) told me it is mine," regarding the No.10 shirt.

Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi were previously tipped to wear the shirt, but Willian has made the confirmation.

Willian has worn the No.10 jersey at both Shakhtar Donetsk and Anzhi Makhachkala before joining Chelsea.
