Manchester United's hopes of retaining Paul Pogba may be dwindling, with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane dropping a significant hint about the midfielder's potential transfer to the Spanish capital.

According to GOAL, Zidane stated that Real Madrid are working on their transfer plans, and they have time to see what will happen regarding Pogba's future.

July 21, 2019, marked a significant day in the Pogba saga, with the midfielder admitting he was looking to seek new challenges in his career. The 26-year-old joined Manchester United from Juventus for £89 million three years ago.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his desire to build the team around Pogba, describing him as a "fantastic human being" and "great professional". However, Pogba's agent has recently told The Times that the player intends to leave the Premier League club.

Real Madrid have been linked with a swoop for Pogba, with reports suggesting that he favors the Spanish capital and that Madrid have made him their top target. The club has made key signings, including Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, and Ferland Mendy, in a bid to regain the ground they lost to Barcelona last season.
