On Sunday, AFC Leopards unveiled seven new players, including Malian striker Ismaila Diarra, who brings a wealth of experience to the club.
Diarra, who was on AFC Leopards' radar two years ago, has played for several top clubs, including Azam, Al Ismaily, and Daring Club Motema Pembe in Congo.
The signings come a week after the club released six players, and AFC Leopards is expected to make further additions to its squad.
According to Dan Shikanda, a member of the club's Technical Team, AFC Leopards intends to sign at least two defenders and another goalkeeper.
"We still need to beef up the squad. We need a right back, left back and a goalkeeper," said Shikanda.
AFC Leopards has been training in Kakamega County since last week, preparing for the upcoming season.
