On July 19, 2019, the Kenya Wildlife Service tweeted a picture of five male elephants wandering on a busy road in Laikipia county, sparking a wave of humor on Twitter.

The elephants had lost their way while migrating from Laikipia to Mau, resulting in a detour to Timboroa forest dam.

According to KWS, locals in the area were advised to exercise caution to avoid any cases of attacks.

Twitter users had a field day coming up with hilarious explanations on why the five male elephants got 'lost', with some suggesting they were running away from their problematic wives or looking for a new place to live.

One user joked that it was a normal occurrence for males to lose their way on Fridays, while another suggested they were searching for a 'slay queen'.

Despite the lighthearted tone, the Kenya Wildlife Service's tweet served as a reminder of the importance of exercising caution when encountering wild animals.
