Ugandan rapper Navio, whose real name is Daniel Kigozi, has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend and baby mama Matilda Nassimbwa in a beautiful ceremony held at Vastland Kyrka in Sweden on July 20, 2019.
The wedding was attended by close friends and family members, including Navio's mother Dr. Maggie and female rapper Stella Mwangi, popularly known as STL, who lives in Sweden.
Navio and Matilda have been together since 2017 and are blessed with a son. In a post on Instagram, Navio expressed his happiness and pride in choosing Matilda as his life partner.
“So let it be. Couldn’t be prouder of who I have chosen and who has chosen me. The one,” he captioned a picture of the two of them.
Kenyan PR Guru Anyiko Owoko was among the first to congratulate the top East African rapper on his marriage.
“Congratulations to one of the realest @naviomusic & wifey Tilly on your wedding! #TeamAnyikoPR wishing you a lifetime of happiness #DannyWedsTilly19 #LoveISLove #Navio,” wrote Anyiko.
Ugandan MC the Mith also congratulated the couple for their bold step, among other celebrities.
