On July 1, 2019, Harambee Stars' Erick Ouma tackled Senegal's Ismailia Sarr during an Africa Cup of Nations match in Egypt.

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying draw, held in Cairo on Thursday, has seen Harambee Stars drawn against Egypt in Group G. The group also includes Togo and Comoros.

Kenya's national football team, Harambee Stars, made a return to the Africa Cup of Nations finals this year after a 15-year absence. They will be hoping to finish among the top two teams in the group to qualify for the finals in Cameroon.

Coach Sebastien Migen will be leading his team in the first round of matches, scheduled for November 7-11. The team will be facing stiff competition from Egypt, who are expected to dominate and finish as group winners.

Meanwhile, Algeria, who met Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations final in Cairo, have been placed in Group H with Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. The Desert Foxes will have to travel virtually the length of the continent three times during the 2021 qualifying campaign.
