July 19, 2019, marked a historic day for Ugandan football as KCCA secured a spot in the Cecafa Kagame Cup finals with a thrilling 4-3 win over Zambia's Green Eagles in extra time.

Ugandan sensation Allan Okello was the star of the show, scoring a brace and providing an assist in the match. The 20-year-old forward broke the deadlock in the second minute with an unstoppable shot past Zambia's goalkeeper Sebastian Mwange.

Okello's goal was followed by a series of raids by the Zambians, but KCCA's goalkeeper Charles Lukwago made several crucial saves to keep his team in the game. Amity Shamende eventually restored parity for the Zambians with a terrific 37th-minute shot.

The match remained tied at 2-2 until the 80th minute when Okello cancelled out Shamende's second goal with a brilliant finish. However, the Zambians managed to draw level again in the dying minutes of regular time, forcing the match into extra time.

It was in extra time that Okello finally sealed the deal for KCCA, providing an assist for substitute Mike Mutyaba's goal in the 97th minute. Three minutes later, Sadat Anaku put the game beyond the Zambians' reach with a clinical finish.

KCCA will now face the winner between holders Azam and AS Maniema in the final tomorrow.
