Dala Dala – Otile Brown ft Ethic ¶
Released early this week, 'Dala Dala' by Otile Brown featuring Ethic has taken the number one spot on the YouTube trends. Ethic entertainment has been making waves in the local music scene with their unique odi pop sound.
With odi pop slowly becoming the preferred genre in mainstream airplay, this collaboration might be the turning point for the Kenyan entertainment scene.
Kaa na mamayako – Benzema, Dmore and Nellythgoon ¶
On Monday, Ochungulo family dropped their new banger 'Kaa na mamayako'. The song, which features Benzema, Dmore, and Nellythegoon, has been trending ever since.
According to the Ochungulo family, 'Kaa na mamayako' is a Kenyan slang, as stated by West Pokot Governor Prof. John Lonyangapuo.
Shado Mado – Willy Paul feat Alaine ¶
Willy Paul's new track featuring Alaine, 'Shado Mado', has been trending on YouTube for the right reasons. The song, which dropped last week, is still at the top of the Kenyan trends.
This isn't the first collaboration between Willy Paul and Alaine, as they previously worked together on the music video 'I do', which caused a stir online.
Dondosha – Masauti feat Lava Lava ¶
Kenyan artist Masauti, real name Mohammed Ali Said, is making a name for himself in the Nairobi music scene. His new hit single 'Dondosha', featuring Tanzanian up and comer Lava Lava, is currently trending on YouTube.
With rivalry always being good for business, Masauti is giving Otile Brown a run for his money in the Nairobi music scene.
