Jeff Koinange Honors Late Bob Collymore's Wish on JKL ¶
On July 17, 2019, Jeff Koinange decided to fulfill a wish made by the late Bob Collymore, the former Safaricom CEO, on his weekly exclusive JKL show on Citizen TV.
Collymore had expressed his desire to have top women CEOs on the show, and Koinange made it happen by hosting Jane Karuku, MD at Kenya Breweries Limited, Rita Kavashe, MD at Isuzu East Africa, and Serah Katusia, MD MediaCom.
During the show, Koinange shared a heartfelt message, saying, 'This is why Rita is here. I made a promise to my good friend, the late Safaricom CEO, Bob Collymore, that I bring some top women CEOs to the bench. Here we are. So Bob, wherever you are, we are now even.'
The three women leaders shared their experiences working with Collymore, describing him as a gentleman who created a brand with a purpose.
Additionally, Koinange surprised Jane Karuku, the MD of Kenya Breweries Limited, on her birthday by throwing her a celebration at the show.
