Pop star Taylor Swift and model Karlie Kloss have been friends for years, but their relationship has been under scrutiny since 2017. The rumors of a falling out began when Kloss was spotted hanging out with Kendall Jenner, the sister of Kim Kardashian, a longtime Swift antagonist.

Swift further fueled the speculation at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, where she debuted the music video for 'Look What You Made Me Do.' The video featured a list of Swift's friends, but Kloss's name was noticeably absent.

Despite Kloss's reassurances that everything was fine, the tension between the two friends continued to grow. In 2018, Kloss was photographed with Katy Perry, another one of Swift's adversaries at the time.

However, it seemed like the friends were back on track in August 2018, when they shared a selfie together. Kloss even wrote a glowing caption about Swift's Nashville Reputation show, saying 'Nashville was out of this world, I am SO proud of you.'

But just two months later, Kloss got married to Josh Kushner, and Swift was noticeably absent from the celebration. Scooter Braun, who has been at odds with Swift, was also in attendance.

Swift's feud with Braun recently came to a head, and many of her famous friends came to her defense. However, Kloss remained silent. More recently, Swift's stylist Ashley Avignone liked tweets from gossip blogger Perez Hilton, which speculated about a falling out between Swift and Kloss.

According to Hilton, the reason for the alleged falling out was that Kloss was telling things about Swift and her career to Braun. However, it's worth noting that a 'like' is far from an endorsement.

Despite the rumors, Kloss has consistently spoken highly of Swift. In an appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live! in March 2019, Kloss said 'Taylor is incredible, and I feel lucky to call her a friend.' She also praised Swift's essay in Elle about turning 30.
