This article highlights the importance of Kenyan athletes being role models and inspiring society.

Athletics is one of the biggest sports in Kenya, and many of our joyful moments as a country have been when our athletes have done us proud by winning medals on the international stage.

However, doping continues to be a major issue in Kenyan athletics, with many elite athletes being suspended or banned for anti-doping rule violations.
