The team, led by captain Philemon Otieno, emerged victorious in a thrilling penalty shootout against their arch-rivals AFC Leopards, winning 6-5.

The match, held at Nyayo Stadium, was attended by thousands of fans donning green and blue jerseys, the colors of the two teams.
