On Wednesday, Ghana's Black Stars will kick off their bid to enter the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ivory Coast by facing Madagascar at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars are in Group F with Madagascar, the Central African Republic, and Angola in the qualifications.

Under the leadership of Otto Addo, a former Borrusia Dortmund player who helped Ghana qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar at the expense of Nigeria, the Black Stars will look to revive their form.

However, Ghana has had a poor run of form in recent months, going scoreless in their last six games. Their last victory came on November 14, 2021, when they defeated South Africa 1-0 in a contentious World Cup qualifier.

Andre Ayew netted a contentious penalty awarded by Senegalese referee Ndiaye Maguette, forcing Safa to submit the matter to FIFA and protest the result.

The match will be live on K24 TV, Sanyuka TV, Azam Sports, and Startimes.
