June 1, 2022, marked a conversation about couples scheduling sex, a concept that may sound odd but has its pros and cons.

Sex is a significant aspect of any relationship, and when things go quiet in the bedroom, it can be a sign that something isn't right. In some cases, the lack of adequate sex can push people to cheat.

However, the reality for most relationships is that you can't always be all over each other all day every day. There are times when you're just not in the mood or your relationship has hit a rut.

Planning intimacy can help strengthen your bond by giving you a chance to open up to each other about your concerns and make the necessary changes. It can also bring an interesting twist to the bedroom by introducing something new and allowing you to prepare accordingly to be in the mood.

Moreover, planning intimacy can make your relationship feel more intentional, restoring that spark that was missing. However, the downside of planning is that it can feel plastic, and some people might not agree with this idea.

Ultimately, scheduling sex is not a solution for deep problems in a relationship. You can tell how your relationship is going by how much sex you're having, and it's not always the case but it sends a certain message.
