Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has spoken out against influencers who attend events without being paid.

During an exclusive interview with Mungai Eve, Omondi stated that only Nikita Kering was paid to attend the launch of Rihanna's Fenty cosmetic products.

He noted that many Kenyan influencers attend such events in the hopes of being associated with large brands, but often end up spending more money and leaving empty-handed.

As the president of Comedy Africa, Omondi has been traveling extensively, including a recent trip to Egypt where he performed.

However, he revealed that he did not promote his visit well enough, and many Egyptians were unaware that he was in their country until he posted a photo of himself wearing a Balenciaga outfit on Instagram.

Omondi plans to return to Egypt in September and has upcoming performances in Qatar and Dubai, with the goal of performing in every African country, particularly those in North Africa.
