On the heels of the sale of over two million units of the TVS motorcycle HLX series globally, Car & General has introduced two new models to the Kenyan market: the TVS HLX 125 Gold and TVS HLX 150 Gold.
The introduction of these new models coincides with the growing demand for two-wheelers in Kenya, which is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of over five percent between 2023 and 2027, according to a 2021 study by TechSci Research.
Speaking during the launch event, Car & General Car Trading Managing Director David Chesoni said, “We are thrilled to introduce the two editions of TVS HLX in Kenya with multiple attributes for our valued customers.”
The TVS HLX series is renowned for its reliability and durability, making it an ideal choice for commercial taxis and delivery segments in rural and urban populations.
The new models feature a durable engine with dual-stage filtration technology, USB chargers, hazard lamps, gear position indicator, and an optional telematics solution, as well as smart anti-theft security features and gold-themed front and rear suspension.
