Wednesday's Madaraka Day celebrations in Nairobi are expected to proceed without any traffic disruptions, according to the National Police Service.
Spokesperson Bruno Shioso outlined the traffic plan, stating that vehicles with red stickers will be directed to Uhuru gardens through gate three, with spillover parking at Uchumi supermarket.
Motorists with other vehicles will proceed along Langata link road, drop visitors at Carnivore-link road junction, and be guided for parking at Carnivore grounds.
After the celebrations, VVIPs will be the first to leave through gate two, followed by vehicles parked at Uchumi supermarket, those at Carnival Grounds, and finally those at Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Shioso urged motorists to exercise caution and obey traffic laws at all times, warning that stern action will be taken against offenders.
