Netizens were quick to tag the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) on her posts, questioning how she could afford such a luxury item during a frustrating economy.
Anerlisa was eventually roped in to indemnify herself over the accusations, and in a recent Instagram story, she expressed her frustration with the situation.
"Personally, I want to freely own things without any fear. What's so funny is that you can own something that you legally bought it, but when a person asks you if it's yours… the way you disassociate yourself with it😅😅😅. It's a fued up era," she said.
While Anerlisa has the option of avoiding a social media life, her wealth has been under scrutiny, and Kenyans will always be on the lookout for her next move.
