On a family vacation, Lynda Nyangweso, a radio presenter, posted a photo of herself, her husband, and baby on social media. The picture, taken while she was wearing a bikini, sparked a wave of cyber-bullying that left her and her husband in pain for days.

According to Lynda, the comments that followed her post were hurtful and expected her to wear 'garbage bags' instead of a bikini. The cyber-bullies even went as far as posting mean comments on her husband's social media accounts, telling him 'really mean things' about his wife.

One of the most hurtful comments was about her child, with some people saying she had no right to have a child because of her appearance. Lynda has been struggling with weight issues since her childhood and has previously contemplated suicide.

She recalled, 'The only reason I didn’t go through with the suicide was because I worried my mom won’t find a coffin that would fit me.'

Lynda's experience serves as a reminder of the devastating effects of cyber-bullying and the importance of kindness and empathy online.
