Comedian Eric Omondi is set to tie the knot with his Italian girlfriend Chantal Grazioli in a lavish Sh80 million wedding, but he's seeking the help of Kenyans to make it happen.
Published on July 17, 2019, Omondi announced that he's planning a big-budget wedding, which he described as an 'international affair' between Kenya and Italy.
'My wedding is not a personal affair, it's an international affair. Kenya is marrying Italy and it's [Italy] coming to Kenya with all the benefits we need,' he said.
Omondi is seeking Sh80 million to cover the dowry payment, pre-wedding, and main wedding expenses. He plans to share his M-Pesa number soon, allowing Kenyans to contribute to the cause.
Once the funds are raised, Omondi will travel to Italy for the dowry paying ceremony, accompanied by 15 people, including Hon Babu Owino, Governor Sonko, and Hon Jaguar.
Before the wedding, Omondi will be promoting his brand through local stadium tours, which he believes is a way to meet his fans and appreciate their support.
