Masira, a young fan of German footballer Mesut Ozil, was thrilled to meet the Madagascar player, Lalaina Nomenjanahary, before the match against Tunisia.
However, things took an unexpected turn when Nomenjanahary playfully pranked Masira, pretending to be a girl, and even gave him a gentle push on the backside.
Masira, who had gained fame on Twitter after a photo of him with Ozil went viral, was left stunned but delighted by the encounter.
He was part of a group of four Kenyan ball boys who were tasked with assisting the players during the match.
