Woman Accidentally Sleeps with Brother-in-Law, Claims She Mistook Him for Husband ¶
On July 16, 2019, a 52-year-old woman in Kenya made a shocking revelation in court, claiming she had slept with her brother-in-law after mistaking him for her husband.
The woman's husband had taken her to court seeking a divorce over infidelity issues, but the woman's defense was that she had been deceived by her brother-in-law's late-night visit to their home.
According to the woman, her brother-in-law had come to their house late at night, and she thought it was her husband who had walked in. She claimed that she only realized her mistake after the two of them had slept together.
The woman's brother-in-law had allegedly told her that her husband had traveled, which further convinced her that he was indeed her husband.
However, the woman's husband denied the allegations, stating that his wife was wayward and adulterous. He also claimed that his wife's concubine was claiming paternity of one of their children.
The woman, on the other hand, requested the court not to grant her husband's wish to dissolve their marriage, stating that she still loved him.
