On July 14th, 2019, Aspira, a leading product-financing service provider, announced a partnership with Xiaomi Mi Home to bring cutting-edge mobile devices to Kenyans through an affordable financial offering.
The partnership aims to take the shopping experience to the next level by enabling shoppers to enjoy a flexible payment plan, with options of six, nine, and 12 months.
Speaking during the launch of the first Xiaomi Mi Home store in Sub-Saharan Africa at the Hub Mall Karen in Nairobi, Aspira Managing Director Yoeal Haile expressed excitement about the partnership.
"We are honored and very excited to partner with one of the leading global smartphone retailers," Yoeal said. "The partnership with Xiaomi Mi Home clearly supports our vision to bring to our customers quality and cutting-edge products."
As part of the partnership, Aspira customers will enjoy an expanded product offering of over 300 different Xiaomi products, ranging from Mi TV Boxes to smartphones and Smart TVs.
Xiaomi East Africa – Sales Manager, Mr. Yao Shaofei, also expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that Kenya is the gateway to Africa and that they are pleased to open their flagship store in Nairobi.
