Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha has directed schools to expedite the registration of all candidates before May 14, warning that any teacher who fails to do so will face disciplinary action.
Speaking during a visit to a school in Kakamega County, Prof. Magoha emphasized that the deadline will not be extended, and the government needs to know the number of candidates to plan accordingly.
With three national exams scheduled to take place this year, the government is also working to revise the academic calendar, which is set to begin in January 2023.
