The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (Kura) has issued a public warning against purchasing state land opposite City Cabanas along Mombasa Road.
The land in question, registration numbers L.R. No 209/14694/1 and L.R. No. 209/14694/2, was acquired from Strategic Industries in 2014 for the sole purpose of completing the construction of the City Cabanas interchange.
Kura Director-General Silas Kinoti noted that various individuals and entities are fraudulently asserting ownership and/or attempting unlawfully to claim ownership of the said land.
“It has come to our attention that various individuals and entities are fraudulently asserting ownership and/or are attempting unlawfully to claim ownership of the said land,” said Kinoti.
He advised the public not to make payments or engage with any entities claiming that they own the land, stating that any person purchasing the said portion or parcels of land shall do so at their own risk.
