December 13, 2017, marked a crucial day for the National Super Alliance (NASA) as it prepared to swear in Raila Amollo Odinga as president of Kenya. The ceremony, initially planned for before the end of 2017, was expected to take place within 17 days.

A private meeting held at Riverside, attended by all NASA principals except Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, who was in Germany, reaffirmed the decision to proceed with the swearing-in as initially planned.

However, our sources revealed that NASA obtained a confidential dossier from the United Nations, which compelled it to postpone the ceremony. This unexpected twist left NASA supporters waiting for further directions from their principals.

Despite the setback, NASA has reportedly gained the support of the international community, including the United Nations, France, and Germany. This international backing is seen as crucial in delegitimizing the Jubilee administration.
