At the official opening of the Kenya Trade Week and Expo 2019 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi County on Monday, Deputy President William Ruto found himself in an awkward situation, sandwiched between his arch-rivals ODM leader Raila Odinga and Industrialisation CS Peter Munya.

While the three leaders were seen chatting at different times, a keen observer, John Riaga, noticed something peculiar - the number of water bottles placed in front of each leader.

According to Riaga's observation, Raila Odinga had three bottles of water, while Deputy President Ruto had two, and CS Munya had only one.

The observation was shared on Facebook, attracting various comments from Riaga's friends, including Edward Ochieng, who quipped, 'Donge I wish Kenyans could be creative in matters of development like in social media. We could have joined the league of G8 countries.'

Others, like Okumu Kennedy, noted, 'Ruto had the longest day sitting between Aman he attacks daily and another he accused of planning to kill him or assassinate him.'

Sharon Gerald jokingly said, 'Ahahahahaha… Kumbe it's that serious?! Mpaka maji?!', while Ken Arek simply stated, 'A bottle of water, two bottles of water and three bottles of water. Sasa wewe.'

Absalom Ochuka added, 'Eyiii. Un keen to details…'
