On Friday, Allan Makhana, the man who caused drama outside Parliament buildings on Tuesday by claiming to be the late President Mwai Kibaki's grandson, begged to address the nation during the funeral service held at Nyayo Stadium.
The incident occurred as Archbishop Anthony Muheria made an announcement.
Security personnel whisked Makhana away after he whispered to Muheria that he needed just two minutes to make 'a few remarks.'
"I only need just two minutes to make a few remarks," he said.
Archbishop Muheria held him close and hugged him before he was taken away.
Makhana also asked the officers to 'treat him well' despite his actions.
"He is a son of our nation who is emotional at the loss of a President, treat him well," he said.
Earlier in the week, Makhana wailed uncontrollably outside Parliament where the late Mwai Kibaki was lying in state.
Police officers at the scene pleaded with him to put on his shirt before being allowed to view the former President's body, but he declined.
