On July 16, 2019, a survey by Robert Half Management Resources revealed that people place a high value on leaders who have integrity.

The research questioned over 1000 office workers and more than 2200 Chief Financial Officers, with employees naming integrity as the most essential quality in a corporate leader.

According to Tim Hird, Executive Director at Robert Half Management Resources, "People want to work for those who are ethical. They know that if their leader acts with integrity, that leader will treat them right and do what's best for the business."

Companies with strong, ethical management teams are better equipped to attract investors, customers, and talented professionals, notes Hird.

In Kenya, a group of young musicians called Shofar is working to promote integrity in the corporate sector through music and events.

Shofar, a music group comprised of young people between 18-35 years from diverse professional backgrounds, has organized the "Shofar Integrity Dinner" to promote good leadership and integrity.

The dinner will feature notable leaders, including Hon. Dr. Fred Matiang'i, Ms. Sylvia Mulinge, Hon. Kivutha Kibwana, and Eng. Patrick Obath, who will discuss topics such as Personal Integrity, Work ethic in the workplace, and Integrity in the leadership of the private sector.
