On July 15, 2019, Tanzania national team coach Ndayiragije Etienne announced his squad for the African Championship qualification matches against Kenya in July and August.
The two teams will meet again after facing off at the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, where Kenya secured a 3-2 win over Taifa Stars.
Etienne has named eight players from the Egypt squad, including Aishi Manula, Metacha Mnata, and David Mwantika.
The first leg will be played between July 26-28 in Tanzania, while the return leg will be staged in Nairobi on August 4.

- Kelvin Yondani (Yanga)

Etienne was appointed as the interim coach of the Tanzania national team following Emmanuel Amunike's departure after a disappointing African Cup of Nations campaign.
